Where do negative comments go?

Has there been a time where someone bullied you? I'm sure at one point everyone has been through that experience. And fairly enough, we probably have bullied someone, too. But we all know that speaking badly about someone can cause them to feel insecure. Once somebody has tried to pull you down, there's no need to take their comment. Most of the negative people won't be in your life forever.

It's very common for all of us to be pressured and feel insecure by our peers. One comment can be such a critical thing that it can easily break us. But no need to fret. Remind yourself that they have no control over your life except you. You have the power to shape your world because if you don't, how can people accept the real you? People's comments are only words that cut deeper than a blade.

One tip to keep yourself from being peer pressured is by feeling confident. Learning about your desires, preferences, and style can built freedom and the ability to think without any care. Many people are so insecure about how they look mainly because they can't feel true about themselves since people are so convincing to change their minds. Realize that's their opinion and know that not everyone will love you. You'll have some haters and some followers, but you are in control of your happiness.

Don't worry, all the bullies you meet throughout your life wouldn't matter. They're only there to try to stop you from being yourself when really they're an example for you to ignore and grow to become a better person. Listen to your heart and do things your way. All the negative comments people been shooting at you, will eventually fade away. You may think these bullies should be gone, but I think they help us achieve who we are even if their criticism isn't constructive.

See ya next time! Ciao ^__^

  2. Sometimes, I have days when I'm thinking man... I really need to cover myself in make up because I'm not confident enough to walk around looking very silly. We have those days, but I do think that confidence has to be worked on everyday! When people see it, we tend to attract others.

  3. As someone who was bullied for years, all I remember was pain. Negativity makes you feel worthless, and empty and just horrible. Like you're not even a person. Just someone's punching bag. When you decide to change, to conciously decide to take no sh*ts and be confident, you'll get there. And those bullies become white noise <3

  4. This post is so important.
I was bullied from Elementary- and straight through entire Middle School. Kids can be so cruel & it sucked but I think it kind of gave me a thick skin towards the haters. I am obviously not bullied anymore but I still do receive quite a lot of hateful comments & even emails of people telling me how ugly I am. It's really ridiculous how it's so important for so many people to make others feel like a piece of shit and I know that you will never be able to stop those haters. But you're absolutely right, you can stop taking their comments to heart.

  5. This is a wonderful post, especially in light of October being National Bullying Prevention Month. Though I was not necessarily bullied to my face, I've had many "friends" talk a lot of negativity about me behind my back. It wasn't until a couple of years back that I realized I just needed to cut away from these type of people and anyone associated with these people. I may not be as social or go out as much as I used to, but at least now I know that the friends I've kept are the true ones. Thanks for the reminder control our own happiness and we should never let anyone else take that away from us :)

  7. Thank you for this post, you are so right! We shouldn't be bothered by negative comments or in maximum take them as a hint. Unfortunately the anonymity of the internet enables such comments and I hope really that people who write bad comments are only in one moment not that friendly but in their heart still good people.
